LongArm quilters basically do variations on 3 types of quilting. Many quilts can be strikingly enhanced with an “Allover” pattern that is virtually impossible to achieve on your home sewing machine...ask me how I know! This consists of one design quilted across your entire top including borders; there are many fun & creative patterns to choose from. “Allover” also includes stippling or meandering which is quite popular.

On some quilt tops, "Custom" quilting may be the best choice to complement your design. This includes Stitch in the Ditch, Echoing, Cross Hatching, Block patterns and Freehand work. It generally involves individual treatment of blocks or areas with a variety of designs and special border design. This type of quilting is priced higher as it takes more time to complete.

"Heirloom” quilting is very intricate, detailed work which includes
Trapunto, Wholecloth or extensive freehand/custom work. Currently, I am not offering Heirloom quilting but would be glad to give you a referral.

I believe that my quilting should enhance your work, not overshadow it. Before starting on your piece, we will decide on patterns, thread & batting choices. When completed, your quilt will be trimmed & ready for binding.
